Introduction of Torigin 〜kettle cooked rice restaurant〜
#鳥ぎん #釜飯 #kamameshi #Torigin
Today I want to introduce the Japanese restaurant “torigin” that is located at Ginza and mainly serving kettle cooked rice.
Kettle cooked rice translates to Kamameshi in Japanese and is a traditional Japanese rice dish cooked in an iron pot called a kama.
Kamameshi originally referred to rice that was eaten communally from the kama.
Coworkers or family members either ate directly from the kama pot or by transferring the rice to individual bowls.
In my memories,
I have no idea the good restaurant that serves kettle cooked rice without “torigin”.
If you came to Tokyo,
It’s worth trying to eat out there!
I ate kettle cooked rice with chicken as picture.
It tastes so good and price was reasonable ( it costs under 1,000yen as Japanese currency).
Location is behind Main Street.
It’s on the narrow passage like a hiding place.but taste is like Japanese professional.
I ate it with grilled chickens. That was also good. How about going there once when you come around Tokyo?
That’s my recommendation for your meals.
Thank you for watching to the last.
